Michaela Smith, FNP-C

Michaela Smith is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in managing primary care health conditions across the lifespan. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023. During that time, she was honored and inducted into the honor societies of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and The Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement for academic excellence. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University in 2018.

Mrs. Smith has six years of nursing experience in various areas like Oncology, Hematology, acute adult post-abdominal transplant, surgical oncology, and medical-surgical. These areas aided in shaping the necessary skills and values our population needs in a provider, such as empathy, compassion, effective communication, and cultural competence that will be brought forth in practicing care in the role of FNP at Quinn Healthcare, PLLC. Before Michaela Smith started her nursing career, she started a family. She met her husband and best friend, Phillip Smith, while she actively served in the United States Marine Corps alongside him. They have been married for 19 years and have four daughters, Destiny, Aaliyah, Bryanna, and Gabrielle, and one grandson, Benjamin.
